Moving forward!

It’s been a busy year! And as much as I’d like to have posted about it more, I’m glad I was at least working on getting other game stuff done. As of writing this, the first third of the game is completely playable. There’s a hefty chunk more that’s also at some level of completion as well, but that fact that you can play through so much of the game is a big milestone for me.

Also here’s a few little bits of stuff made recently:

March Madness!

It has been a busy month since my last post. A new area of the game is almost complete. I added a new simple but effective feature for the battle system, integrated a few quality of life features for the overall game, as well as completed a number of items on my development to do list. We are just about 40% done with the whole game. That is hefty increase in productivity over the past year. And hopefully that continues to speed up.

Also, I’ll be showing the game at two new conventions! Thy Geekdom Con on May 23-25 and Too Many Games on June 27 – 29. Both of them in Oaks, PA. I hope that I get to see some of you there!

Talk to you soon!

Happy New Year… a month late!

Hi All,

I hope everyone’s doing as well as they can this year. Sorry for the radio silence since December. I took a little time off and then had some minor health issues. But I’m back at it again!

New things going on. We have a bluesky! daytheworldstopped.bsky.social
And a convention just outside of Philly in May! Check the side bar for detail!
So that’s pretty cool! Now I’m just trying to make some headway on the next major game area. Once I have that done, technically you could play the game to AN ending. Just not thee ending. Regardless, that will be a pretty big milestone and mark the game at roughly 50% done. Hopefully I’ll be able to show off some things soon!

Pittsburgh Gaming Expo was a blast!

Phew… it has been a busy week. Especially considering that i meant to make this post four days ago… Hey, better late than never. But regardless, Pittsburgh was a lot of fun! As always, thank you to everyone that stopped by and tried out the game. The feedback that you all give me is so helpful in helping me improve it more and more. Also another thank to all of the added steam wishlist’s.

I also wanted to give a shout out to my fellow devs that were at the convention.

South Scrimshaw – A cool visual novel game using a science fiction documentary about fictional science and an Alien Whale. It has gorgeous artwork and I highly recommend that you check it out!

A Snail’s Tale – A fun turn based RPG about fighting snails. It’s full of puns and fun game play mechanics. It brings me back to the days of playing Final Fantasy 1 but with a lot of improvements.

Anyway, back to work with me…. Hopefully, I will have more news about things soon!
